Martha Hughes Stockton Brush, daughter of Richard Stockton, 3rd and Martha (Hughes) Stockton, married on April 18, 1936, Clinton Ethelbert Brush, 3rd of Nashville, Tennessee, who was born on March 16, 1910, son of Dr. Clinton E. Brush and Ruby K. Riley. Mr. Brush graduated from Princeton University in the Class of 1933 and was a practicing architect in Nashville, Tennessee, a Republican and an Episcopalian. He is now (1996) retired and lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bayard Stockton, 3rd, son of Richard Stockton, 3rd and Martha Hughes Stockton, was for many years a resident of Princeton, and was the founder and owner of Cousins and Company formerly on 49 Palmer Square, Princeton. He was an honorary member of the Class of 1933 of Princeton University, and served in the European Theatre during World War II in the Quartermasters Corps. He was an Assistant Football Coach at Princeton University from the end of WW II until his resignation in 1961.
Bayard Stockton, 3rd, was married February 1, 1941, in Philadelphia to Anne Strobhar (b. February 15, 1920), daughter of Thomas Shenton Strobhar and Frances Katherine Eagan. This marriage was terminated by divorce in 1961, and Mr. Stockton sold Cousins and Company and moved to Florida and later to the Island of Elbow Cay in the Bahamas. In 1967, he returned to Florida from the Bahamas. He passed away on Dec. 25, 1986 in Nashville, Tennessee while visiting his sister, Martha Stockton Brush.

Charlotte Shields Stockton Warfield Little, daughter of Richard Stockton, 3rd and Martha (Hughes) Stockton, was married first to Richard Webster Warfield, son of Harry Ridgely Warfield and Sue Sadtler Warfield of Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Warfield was born December 18, 1908, was a graduate from Princeton University in the Class of 1930, and married on December 18, 1933 in Princeton, where they lived until his death at Gualdalcanal during WWII.
Mr. Warfield was a Director of Student Employment and Assistant to the Dean of Admissions at Princeton University until 1942, when he entered the United States Marine Corps and died as a Captain, in the Pacific, on March 1, 1943. Charlotte Shields Stockton next married, on May 20, 1944, Charles Welles Little, of Hagerstown, Maryland, son of Stanley Judson Little and Ellen Hollenback Welles, both of Towanda, Pennsylvania. Mr. Little was born on December 25, 1904, and was a graduate of Washington and Lee University, Class of 1926, and Law, 1927. He was a lawyer in Hagerstown, Maryland, a Republican and an Episcopalian.

Roberta Thorburn Stockton, daughter of Richard Stockton, 3rd and Martha (Hughes) Stockton, married on November 24, 1943 to Robert Laurence Johnson, son of Alfred E. Johnson and Edna Lindsay Wilson of Washington, D.C. Mr. Johnson died on April 9, 1976. He lived in Washington, D.C. and Bay Head, New Jersey all of his life. For many years, he was the Senior Development Engineer with the Titanium Division of National Lead Company in South Amboy, New Jersey. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Class of 1937. While at MIT, he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a Republican and Presbyterian and a Member of the Bay Head Yacht Club.
